The largest of the PGA’s 41 sections, the Carolinas Section has more than 2300 professional golfers and is home to many internationally renowned course such as Pinehurst and Kiawah Island to name a few. The Carolinas PGA is dedicated to nurturing and improving the quality of the game in the region.

Calling the city of Raleigh home, the Carolina Hurricanes are a professional hockey team playing home games at the Lenovo Center. Having moved to Carolina in 1997, the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup in 2006. Sandbagger can be found throughout the Lenovo Center as well as at the Sandbagger Grab and Go Market in the building.

The Buffalo Sabres are a professional hockey team based in Buffalo, New York with home games at the KeyBank Center. They joined the National Hockey League's (NHL) as part of the 1970 expansion and play in the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference.

The Rochester Americans are the AHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. Six-time Calder Cup Champions, the Amerks are the second-oldest franchise in the American Hockey League. Home games have been played at Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial in downtown Rochester since the team's inception in 1956.
